We delved into the magical LEGO DREAMZzz watch party which was live streamed from Studio 1 to YouTube last week. This enchanting event showcased an extraordinary adventure to a global audience, the watch party, hosted by Yasmin Evans, featuring special guests Amazing Arabella, Jaadin The Kid, Adam B and Aoife Wilson. We were delighted to have our valued client Content Creator Studios join us once again as an integral part of this exciting collaboration.

The livestream was designed to offer an exclusive sneak peek into the magical world of LEGO DREAMZzz before its official release on popular platforms including Netflix, ITVX, Amazon Prime and the LEGO YouTube channel. Working closely with Content Creator Studios, we crafted an unforgettable experience that left viewers eagerly anticipating the full release of this captivating adventure.

The Tech

For this LEGO DREAMZzz shoot, we used 4 Sony FX9s with our G Master 28-135 f4 lenses to achieve a fully mixed broadcast using our Blackmagic Atem 8K Constellation. Our broadcast quality video was supported with 4 Sanken Cos 11 mics, Yamaha TF1 mixer and Sennheiser G4 receivers and transmitters to ensure a strong and stable connection with clear voices.

Our Response

For the production, we allocated Studio 1, providing ample space to create the perfect dream set. Our client meticulously designed the set, incorporating a vibrant and colourful backdrop, complete with beds and props, to achieve the ideal dream-like atmosphere. Studio 1, known for its spacious and state-of-the-art facilities, proved to be the perfect canvas for our creative vision.

The studio boasts a fully spec'd high-tech space, equipped with cutting-edge features such as all-encompassing LED lighting, allowing us to create dynamic and immersive lighting setups. Additionally, the multi-camera tracking system enabled seamless camera movements and precise tracking shots, enhancing the overall visual experience.

With the newly upgraded gallery infrastructure, we ensured smooth video switching and playback control, optimizing the production workflow. Furthermore, Studio 1 offers two adjacent green rooms, providing a comfortable space for the crew and agency teams to collaborate and mingle. Additionally, a discreet backstage area and ensuite dressing room were available to accommodate the talent, ensuring their privacy and convenience.

Collaborating closely with Content Creator Studios, we were able to exceed their expectations and bring their vision to life. The fabulous setting, we created, combined with our expertise in content production, resulted in captivating and high-quality content that surpassed all expectations. Together, we crafted a truly remarkable experience for the LEGO DREAMZzz shoot, delivering exceptional results that delighted both the client and the audience.

Really loved shooting here.. I bought in one of my luxury fashion clients in asking Broadley to deliver the full production brief, from concept to final edit for digital and social channel broadcasts. I chose Broadley for the amazing location too. Marylebone is just perfect for my clients to experience and on site the dressing & green rooms are cosy, nice touches. The team were incredibly helpful, experienced and super-skilled. Thanks to the state of the art in-house tech tech for camera, lighting, gallery, and the dynamic, flexible 2 studio spaces themselves, we're thrilled with the output. We'll be back soon.

Richard at the studio pretty much saved our shoot. Fitted us in so last minute and he and all the team were so helpful and accommodating both before and during the shoot. We used studio 1 which was spacious and fully equipped, cables, extensions, tape, you name it they had it. We needed the infinity cove to make an ethereal space, and the team pre set the lights so we had a lovely soft white wash ready to go saving us so much time. The space also had a green screen wrap that fitted the entire studio too which meant we actually ended up getting stuff we thought we'd need an extra studio day for. Best studio experience I've had.

Fantastic experience filming at Broadley and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a centrally located London studio with great spaces (we were in Studio 2, perfect for filming presenter PTCs). Excellent facilities and customer service – and a big thank you from us at Hound Dog Films to Arjun and the team for looking after us so well. Looking forward to coming back for more.

Fantastic experience at Broadley and would highly recommend for the following reasons:Location - it's outside the CC zone, minutes from Paddington, Marylebone and Baker Street with car parking available nearby as wellStudio - two great spaces - we were in Studio2 which was perfect for filming interviewsFacilities - Green Room was great - screens and sound to monitor the shoot, workspace with high speed wifi, sofa, dressing room, and a wide selection of teas and coffeesCustomer service - this was the highlight for me - Richard, Arjun and the rest of the team were probably the most helpful and accommodating people I've ever worked with - nothing was too much!
